Module 01
Contract & Quotation Management
The commercial backbone of FreightOps. Configured per customer before any jobs are created — defining the exact terms under which freight services are delivered. Supports multi-commodity contracts, volume-based rate tiers, preferential pricing, custom contractual clauses, and a full digital signature workflow. Once signed, contractual rates are locked and flow automatically into every job created under that contract — eliminating pricing disputes and manual rate lookups.
Key Features
Contract Template Builder
Create contract templates per trade lane, commodity type, or customer tier. Templates pre-populate standard clauses, rate structures, and payment terms — ready to customise per contract.
Commodity Rate Tables
Define freight rates per commodity (e.g., RCN, Cocoa, Cotton) with minimum volume commitment, preferential rate below the threshold, and standard rate above it. Multiple commodities per contract.
Custom Clause Library
Build a reusable library of standard and custom contractual clauses. Drag-and-drop clause insertion into any contract. Clause version control with edit history tracked per contract.
In-Browser Contract Preview
Render a formatted contract preview before sending — including all rate tables, clauses, and signatory fields. Reviewable by the internal team and flagged for approval before dispatch.
Digital Signature Workflow
Send the contract directly to the customer by email for digital signing. Track open, viewed, and signed status in real time. Countersignature by the internal authorised signatory before final lock.
Rate Auto-Lock to Jobs
Once a contract is fully signed, its rates are locked. Any job created under that customer and commodity type inherits the contractual rate automatically — no manual rate entry, no pricing errors.
